Neighbourland is a continuous project where people from all horizons compose and geotag anonymous messages addressed to someone else*.
All kinds of messages are accepted. The site is a place of free expression.
So, for those looking to give Neighbourland a spin, here are the guidelines:1. Write and personalize an anonymous message (you can use paper, post-it notes, photos, tickets, postcards, etc).2. Be as original/sensible/artistic/humoristic as possible when you compose your message. The goal is to catch attention, to provoke curiosity, and to interact with other people.3. Once finished, take a photo of your message (or, better yet, scan it) and email it at neighbourlandmail@gmail.com.
4. Indicate in your email the country where you live, your city/village and the recipient (example: your neighbour, your boss, your mother-in-law, etc.) .The most interesting, artistic and original messages will be posted on Neighbourland.New sets of geotagged messages are posted on this blog every week.
*Messages will be displayed on this site rather than being sent to the recipients, in order to guarantee anonymity and to avoid eventual disputes and personal revenges.By submitting information to this site, you grant Neighbourland a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to that information at its sole discretion, including storing it on Neighbourland servers and incorporating it in other works in any media now known or later developed including without limitation published books.
